Nov 12,  · Damnation - My intro to Opeth. Love it to this day. In My Time of Need was my first track, and I was blown away. Instantly got the whole album and loved To Rid the Disease and Windowpane. The whole album is great, and the best album to sit back and get high to. Great stuff, really demonstrates Opeth's versatility and why they are such a great band.

It seemed as though Opeth might have found a fair balance between the unique death metal sound for which they’ve become so renowned and the old progressive music frontman Mikael Akerfeldt has so openly expressed his love for on ’s mentmiddtupahoranlanatextkethouven.co sound of the album is just far enough removed from the heralded Blackwater Park and Ghost Reveries to shake criticisms of the band retreading.
