K.M.D. are young and fairly politically astute Passionate and fired-up, K.M.D.'s political aggression is founded on black nationalism. As with peers the Jungle Bros., Queen Latifah, etc., their raps strike a strong balance between simple hectoring, reason, and flat-out parody The recurring motif is "Mr. Hood," a dullard who appears via samples from what seems to be some kind of 4/

KMD was a rap group from the early 90s. The members include: Zev Love X (a.k.a. MF DOOM, Viktor Vaughn & King Geedorah), Subroc (Zev Love X's deceased brother), and Onyx The Birthstone Kid. KMD released their first album mentmiddtupahoranlanatextkethouven.co on Elektra in A nearly impossible to find release (although since has been re-issued in Oct. ), Mr. Hood preached power and positivity, with obscure samples.

Best Of KMD songs Some Messiahs deliver their Gospel, hang out for a long weekend & then leave the rest to the followers. "Risen" is the unadulterated & driven sound of pure, adorned only by the poetry Raymond Watts provides The Lord Of The Lard calls on Ben Christo, mentmiddtupahoranlanatextkethouven.co, En Esch, Tim Skold, Marc Heal, Phil Barry, Mark Thwaite, Anita Sylph & Emre Ramazanoglu & gets to work on bringing glam.

Aug 09,  · The album itself is mostly based on a fictional character named Mr. Hood, who's voice is pasted together by instructional tapes (or so I heard). Some of the skits that feature Mr. Hood are quite entertaining, such as "Mr. Hood Meets Onyx", and "Mr. Hood Gets A 5/5(20).

Artists and repertoire representative Dante Ross learned of KMD through the hip hop group 3rd Bass and signed the group to Elektra Records. Dumile and KMD's recording debut came on 3rd Bass's song "The Gas Face" from The Cactus Album, followed in with KMD's album Mr. Hood, which became a minor hit through its singles "Peachfuzz", "Who Me?".

Some of the skits that feature Mr. Hood are quite entertaining, such as "Mr. Hood Meets Onyx", and "Mr. Hood Gets A Haircut". Production wise is unique and creative.
